DUSTKOP FTP Series Positive Pressure Enclosureless Dust Collectors

AGET DUSTKOP FTP Series enclosureless dust collectors offer an effective and practical solution to many woodworking and other nuisance dust problems created from various manufacturing processes.  This line of products provides an affordable dust collector that will effectively capture and remove dust particles from contaminated airstreams. The dust laden air is conveyed to the collector by the integral system fan and then filtered through fabric tube filter media. Captured dust is collected beneath the bag plenum in easily connected disposable waste bags. Woven fabric filter media yields an extremely high filtration efficiency, and is intermittently reconditioned by the integral shaker mechanism, operated either manually or automatically, when the fan is off-line.  AGET’s enclosureless dust collector design is compliant as an indoor enclosureless dust collector per NFPA 654 and NFPA 664. The FTP Series dust collector offers quick and easy installation and start-up, a small indoor footprint, and quiet operation. AGET’s FTP Series results in improved air quality and provides a safer working environment by removing dust particles from manufacturing operations and allowing clean, filtered air to be exhausted back into the work area. DUSTKOP enclosureless dust collectors offer a lower cost up-front investment, reduced maintenance costs and improved facility cleanliness. AGET has proudly manufactured DUSTKOP equipment in the USA since 1938.

NFPA Compliance Considerations:

For AGET FTP Series enclosureless dust collectors to be compliant with NFPA standards, the following items must be adhered to:

  • The collector must handle 5,000 CFM or less
  • The collector cannot be connected to sanders, abrasive planers, or molders with mechanical material feeds
  • Collected dust must be removed daily or more frequently if necessary
  • The collector must be located at least 20’ from any means of egress or area routinely occupied by personnel
  • Multiple enclosureless dust collectors in the same room must be separated by a minimum of 20’
  • The filter media cannot be shaken or reconditioned while the fan is on-line and running
  • The collector cannot be used to collect metal dusts

Note: Additional requirements may apply to meet NFPA 654 standards for dusts other than wood dust.
